care and consent matters

Wildfern Grove is committed to supporting a safer environment for all our event attendees. We care about your wellbeing. We also recognize that being human and exploring personal growth can be vulnerable and sometimes messy, inside ourselves and with others. Our Care & Consent Team is here to support your process of learning and wellbeing to add to your own personal resources for self-care.

Your wellbeing

You know yourself best: what you want, what you don’t, and what boundaries help you have an amazing experience. We encourage you to take the time and space to listen to your inner wisdom. During events, our Event Angels are available to answer questions, offer support and reflection, help with consent and repair conversations, and guide you through reporting a concern.

How We Can Support You

  • Get clarity on a consent, boundary, or relational question.

  • Share general (non-incident related) feelings with a caring, non-judgmental person.

  • Receive comforting, non-sexual/ non-sensual, holding or touch.

minor incidents

  • Receive empathetic and present listening after an accidental boundary crossing, unintentional “toe-stepping,” or an uncomfortable interaction.

  • Receive compassionate reflection on how to re-regulate and, if you choose, communicate with others involved to return to wellbeing after crossing a boundary or having your boundaries crossed.

  • Receive guidance and support in having a [Repair Conversation].

major incidents

  • Receive immediate support after a consent violation, a pattern of violations, or any ongoing emotional, energetic, or physical distress.

  • Get help completing an [Incident Report].

  • Major incidents include forcefully crossing a boundary after a “no,” attempting to physically, emotionally, or energetically overpower someone, or using manipulation to get a desired outcome.

  • Note: our Event Angels are skilled and trained in empathetic listening and emotional support, but in most cases are not medical professionals or licensed therapists. Please seek additional support from those you trust whenever the need arises. Your wellbeing is important to us.
